Impressions Of Myself

Impressions Of Myself

A Poem by Healing Star

I'm kind of like an old Wagon
I keep rollin' down the Street
No attention is anyone Payin'
People walkin' by, none take a Seat

I'm kind of like an old Wheel
I get squeaky without the Grease
A little rusty and torn is how I Feel
Maybe I should move, instead of sign the Lease

I'm kind of like an old Hay Barn
Been here since long before the War
Like a worn shoe that's lost it's Charm
A pebble on a cold distant Shore

I'm kind of like the Wind that ya Hear
And I whisper to my Heart forever True
Holding the Message unfolded so Clear
In the damp darkness enveloped in a picture of You

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
