Child Of Peace

Born from seeing myself, my life, and the day being crafted by the Children of Light.

The Child not Chosen

May be left Broken

The Child told if you do This

Then you will be good Enough

Says to that child's Heart

You are not good Enough

The Child left Alone

Forever sees itself Alone

The Child told if you work Hard

One day you will be Somebody

Says to that Child's Heart

You are Nobody

The Child shown it's not Deserving

Believes it is not Deserving

The Child told one day if you follow the Rules

You might then be Worthy

Says to that Child's Heart

You are not Worthy

But what I say to the Child

The Child in all of us is This

You were born Chosen

You were born Perfect

You were born Deserving

You were born Worthy

If it were not So

This could not Pierce your Heart

With the intensity that it Does

And my eyes would not be filled with this Water

As I speak these Words

To these Sons and these Daughters

Bless You Peace Makers

Bless You Children of the Day Of Peace

And Know This

You are Perfect

You are Immovable

You are the Rock chosen to Chisel the New Day From

You are the Hope of Humanity

And because of You,

the Ancestors look on us Now with Hope
