Pipeline End

Pipeline End

A Poem by Healing Star
"

For my Relations standing to stop the Pipeline in North Dakota today.

"
You my Brother
You my Sister
You stand on Sacred Ground
Where 'er you Stand
You stand on Mother's Sacred Ground

You my Brother
You my Sister
You stand on Sacred Ground
Where 'er you Stand
Try now to not make a Sound,
And Listen

There is a Heartbeat
It's there, the sound of the Native Drum
As the Sun goes down to Rest
Know we are all here for this Test
To Listen

There is a Whisper
Coming from Her Trees
Once you hear, drop to your Knees
Feel the Movement up through your Feet
And bring it down from the Heavens within you to Meet

There is a Love
That we can no longer Ignore
And it's time to stop making Her a W***e
And open our Hearts to our Sweet Mother
Because my Children, there is no Other

You my Brother
You my Sister
You stand on Sacred Ground
Where 'er you Stand
You stand on Mother's Sacred Ground

One Day all will Understand
One Day we will be ALL shown the Plan
As to my Native Friends it never made Sense
For man to own their Mother, you see no Sense
The Mother he is born from and returns To

You suck from Her until she's left Dry
And it is to your Heart now I Cry
How long must you damage Her
For Money that only leaves us Emptyer
And Destroys all that gave us Life

Your pipes pump it along her Belly
But what about when it shakes like Jelly
And Breaks and Spills all over my Relations
And the mighty will grimace from their Stations
And they will say they still were Right

You my Brother
You my Sister
You stand on Sacred Ground
Where 'er you Stand
You stand on Mother's Sacred Ground

One Day all will Understand
One Day we will be ALL shown the Plan
As to my Native Friends it never made Sense
For man to own their Mother, you see no Sense
The Mother he is born from and returns To

And when the Rich man stands shaking his Fist
A great cloud will rise and carry him away in Mist
The Day of Truth is coming my Child
The Day of Peace, of the Child so Mild
On Sacred Ground, and the Sacred is on our Side
On our Side

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
