Feel what it is to Be Real

It's been so Long

Since I've been Myself

Eons ago, I put Me on a Shelf

I took up a Story

Of all they wanted to See

And I left Behind

The Real Me

No simple thing living Blind

I woke up one morning and Started

And my way was becoming open Hearted

To Bring me Back

The Image Painted was so Black

Shame was the ugliest color they Used

My Heart and Spirit were so Abused

As I go into that dark Closet

And I begin to shine a light on It

I wonder how I could have bought It

But I am beginning to understand how it Fits

I became unconscious and allowed the Mask

Pain was to great I was not up to the Task

All I wanna do

Is Feel
