Know You're Blessed

I told you he Restarted my Heart, now here's the proof.

It's time to find our Truth

That we had within our Youth

Then they stole it all Away

We stood wondering what to Say

From behind a curtain Drawn

We were just little Fawns

They told us not to Look

And from us our power Took

There were some who did not Buy

But so many were far too Shy

And most just went Along

Because everyone was singing the Song 

We had fallen fast Asleep

Into our heads they did Creep

They showed us to the Doors

And stole what was mine and Yours 

Our parents were trained Well

To us imparted with stories they did Tell

We were all brought into their Schools

Where we were trained in all their Rules

The Illusion has been Built

To it we wrapped ourselves like a Quilt

It's been going on for thousands of Years

That we would be surely lost within our Fears

That they might take Away

Our power and with it Sway

The Masses so they could Rule

They see us only as the Fool

But now we Awake to all they've Done

Beginning to See as they think they've Won

We can surely take it all Back

Our knowledge, the Power that it Packs

They taught us to want More

To only look behind their Doors

To consume all that we Can

For that's what makes us follow this Plan

They taught us the only way was to Compete

And when we win we become the Elite

They taught us to struggle and not lose our Way 

For if we did there would be Hell to Pay

They taught us well this Illusive Dream

That we would rise with all of the Cream

But as we rose we looked Around

We became lost, separated from the Ground

But now we are seeing it goes no Where

The doors open to cupboards Bare

There is no way that this can be Sustained

It only leads to more and more Pain

We find that compassion to be a better Way 

We work together to build what will Stay

We'll stand against the Destructive Wheel

That has been turning our Hearts to Steel

In the Light of all that has gone Wrong

It's time to start singing a different Song 

That we might turn this Vessels Course

Begin living our lives in Peace without Remorse

So Children please trust your Hearts

For it is ever growing even more Dark

We must cling to the Love we know is Real

Find the Truth through all that we Feel

Know that we don't have to save the whole World 

But only one Boy or only one Girl

And this One I speak of is You

Know you are Blessed, know you are True
