Another Year

A night with my darlings, popcorn, smiles, movies laughs, little elf's, happy snow man dancing in the yard. Brings the smiles.

Oh, as another Year Closes

The Children having red Noses

There Smiles are so Big

The Dreams of these little Twigs

As Another Year Closes

I now feel as old as Moses

There have been so many Changes

It seems the world continues to Rearrange

As I move into another year Older

I Feel it all Lifting from my Shoulders

And Like the Fog of a Morning Pond

Rising like the sweet birdies Song

As this Holy year Closes

This ain't been no bed of Roses

But I would not trade it for Anything

For I know the Joy this will soon Bring

Oh, as another year Closes

I Feel I've been making Poses

Don't really know what lies Ahead

I stop to pause before taking my Bed

Another year has gone behind Me

Forever calls the Eternity, Eternity

Over waters, over Mountains

My Heart like bubbling Fountains

Standing tall on this Horizon

And the Future I'll keep my Eyes On

I'll never worry about Tomorrow

Walking now out of all Sorrow
