Sorry Darling

Sorry Darling

A Poem by Healing Star
"

I could say who this is about, but that would ruin the fun for you.

"

A little Girl

An open Stage

A MicroPhone

Standing There

And then

She began to Sing

Now we did not Know

What kind of Hell

Might come of This

This little Girl

Well they loved her Heart So

But no body Saw

No Body

Wanted to Look

At all the Pain there in her Eyes

They just wanted to Hear

All the Beauty that came Out

Of her Mouth

We all heard her Sing

Me, Me

Me and my Bobby McGee

But no one was There

On those long bus Rides

Where all she did was Stare

Such a Crime

As she did another Line

And she polished off that third Bottle

I often ask my self Why

Couldn't we Look

At that Pain

That was There

Just behind her Eye

A little Girl

An open Stage

A MicroPhone

Standing There

And then

She began to Sing

Now we did not Know

What kind of Hell

Might come of This

This little Girl

Did you Ever Get that

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
