You know I have a Dream

It's not one I've shared with anyone Else

I have this dream I have kept squashed for so Long

Please help me Lord to be Strong

That I might bring this Dream back to Life

Though it's been ages since it was Born

Help me bring it no matter how much Strife

Though my mind and body once felt Worn

I now feel the years falling Away

Each morning gets brighter, a little Lighter

You see my walk it has a New Sway

I am an Eagle, I am a Fighter

You see the dream I have brought from the Past

Is a dream of singing my song for You

And I pray to all the Gods to make this life Last

That we might live to see this Dream Through

Hey I don't think we are too different :) I enjoyed this very much. Is this person you in this dream? Of so may I hear it? My dream is for equality, one I've vowed in the name of a now nameless figure. I wish for the world to see all as equals, a dream of virtue.

I love this poem though! It works perfect, and flows and says so much! You should be pretty proud of it, because I see great skill as well as promise! Great work :)

This dream is the Life I so want to reach. I am kept from it by not totally believing I can make it a reality, but with each day I get closer to believing I can live it. It's the dream they work so hard at keeping us from believing we can attain, right from our very first years here in this place we still call home, though we feel distant from it. It is the Dream of living Free, truly Free, without having a belief in needing more, or feeling we must serve someone. Thank you so much for your kind words that motivate. I'll keep working on bringing my Dream to Light. The God I am drawn too, is not a God of names, not a God of Do's or a God of Don'ts, but is a God that knows only four words and keeps repeating them. Come Dance With Me, Come Dance With Me, Come Dance With Me, and he waits in Rumi's Field out passed the concepts of Right Doing and Wrong Doing, the Field where we will all meet one day, when we finally live in a World beyond Judgement. Judgment is horrible. So as I see it, I want equality for all, and you want a world free from pain and judgment. Is that not the same? Do you know the owl's wisdom? I would say you do. You know, your words make perfect sense to me. You are not alone. Your name means a lot to me on this website. Someone who believes in healing? That is a person I want to know.

I'll tell you one thing. Morality is what I study and write about, and I feel each of our moral codes are not wrong, but actually right for each person.

And hey, you are cool. :) I would like to read more of your writing. You're like a light to this moth :)
