As All Of Us (Return)

From a discussion with Fred Coyote in his Cabin on the Mountain. I asked what if He came back as all of us, and Fred said, what if He never left.

Now wouldn't it be Sad

If this were the Tale

We had to tell to our Children 

Of a Dream that did not Prevail

As the Storms grew Fierce

As the NIght would not give Way 

As our Heart the Demons Pierced

And many gave up their Mantles of Clay

We cried for Him to Appear

We cried surely He will come Now

And then many collaped into their Fear

Most lost Hope still looking for How

The Redeemer would come and peek through the Vail

That His might would be Shown

And our Broken Hearts would Prevail

No longer would this Anchor be Grown

And we all looked up gazing for a Sign

We held each other Praying and Praying

We were broken and the Chords did Bind

And then an Elder was heard Saying

I saw the Lord and this is what He Said

I have been here all along waiting for you to see Yourselves

You are my Bride and I showed up to Wed

But you had all been searching outside instead of Yourselves

He was there all along waiting for us to See

He was there all along but we were listening to the Lie

We were not Dreaming the Dream that it was We

Who had been sent to restore the Christ within, Sigh

It is not to Late

To restore our Fate

To not have to tell this Story of Pain

But to go within ourselves and Regain

The Glory that He has held for Us

That we might again regain His Trust

And that within Ourselves, He does Return

That we might take to Heart this Holy Lesson Learned

For Christ has Returned, He has Returned

In fact He never Left I Trust

Within us He Burns, within us He Burns

As All of Us, As All of Us
