A thought about being thankful for what I have found, the Closest Thing.

You need to find your own Rhythm

You gotta learn to be true to yourself

No matter how much love you give ‘em

They will leave and you’ll be left with just Self

You need to find your own answers to Life

Invest in your own future and remember to Breathe

These lessons will teach you to avoid much Strife

And you have all the time until the Body is buried Beneath

You need to find what Creation holds for You

Well I been Searchin’

Most all of the Time

Said I have been Searchin’

Nearly every Where

Ever since I heard of that Place

That they call Heaven

You are the closest thing …..  I’ve Found

Yes, you are the closest Thing

Where are the Rainbows

Where have all the Fieries Gone

Where are the Unicorns

That once could be Found

Ever since the Dawn

There are good feelings in the Forest

The Mountains will always hold their Own

There is peace in the Desert

Even at times you can find it in a Town
