After I have been Away

To come back to you Again

A Trusted Heart that Stays

To be with you now my Friend

To hear your voice Again

To be held within your Arms

To come back now and Again

Knowing you keep me from all Harm

My Dear and Loving Mother

Your Lessons are so True

My Dear and Loving Mother

There's so much work for us to Do

You treat me like an only Child 

Even though you have millions holding On

As I come and return into your Wild

Knowing your Love I can always count On

To return me to my Heart 

And then I see your Smile

To many days we were Apart

But now we'll walk together through the Miles

Wow, This is so heartwarming and evokes a safe, beautiful and mournful sort of feeling. I long to go run into the lap of my mother's lap now, though I am afraid I will find it much smaller and frailer than I remember. Please keep up the amazing work. I really feel the longing in this poem, brings my heart to my throat.
