No Longer Feeling Helpless

No Longer Feeling Helpless

A Poem by Healing Star
"

A new perspective on Neil Young's Song Helpless. Helpless is first and then my reply.

"

I would change a line in this song too ...
There is a town in Northern Michigan, instead of in North Ontario.

There is a town in north Ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind
I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.

Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us

Helpless, helpless, helpless
Baby can you hear me now?
The chains are locked
and tied across the door,
Baby, sing with me somehow.

Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us

Helpless, helpless, helpless.

But now somehow
I don't feel Helpless Anymore
I see the Sun Rise in the Morning
Telling me a Bright Day is Dawning

Grow your Strength
You can Stand the Day
For you are not Alone Children
We have come to bring you on your Way

I don't feel Helpless Anymore
For I have been shown a Holy Door
And my Sky is opening up to Me
As I have learned to Turn within to See

Not Helpless Anymore
I have got Kings and Queens by the Score
Children waking Up
And Finding they have Peace upon their Minds
They've got Peace upon their Minds
Did you hear me Mama
They've got Peace upon their Minds
Now that we have learned to Look Within
And this new Journey we now Begin

~Healing Star ... The Healing has begun.

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
