This Dream Don't End

This came with the Rain this morning.

I'm a reflection of Sight and Sound 

You only see me on the Rebound

For so long afraid to Look

Didn't want to share my closed Book

Had to let go of my Fear and Rage

Before I could trust and turn the Page

And now you see lost become Whole

To be myself the only Goal

Once I got past my mind's Doubt

Could finally see what it's all About

Needed to remember I am the Student

I had been the teacher to proud to Bend

I once thought I had so much to Learn

My Heart ached, so much it Yearned

But the days have become so much more Kind

I only need to Remember what I left Behind
