I Looked Up

Nahko Bear is the Stallion, pic, I made that Native American Drum with my Drum teacher Kaz six days before this Nahko Concert where he signed it for me.

When I looked up

Couldn't believe what I Saw

It was you, the young Stallion

I was so Nervous, as I climbed on Board

I was so Nervous, as through the field we Soared

You gave me Heart, I felt so Free

I didn't want to ever let Go

There was so much that you showed Me

Now I know I've come a long Way 

By the dust that's settled behind Me

And my eyes now they See

I can make it too the New Day

Where are the shadows that did Haunt

The One inside me, began to Dream Again

The One inside me, is my True Friend

All those things that held me, they can't Taunt

The spell is broken, by this new freedom I have Found

The ones around me still think they own Me

They don't see the quiet smile, here inside Me

I now hear music in every Sound

I heard a message from the Night Sky

And now I hear you sing it back to Me

This is the true meaning of being Free

To know your the answer and your the Why

I was always saying One Day 

I was always trapped by my Past

But when I road you, I saw it would not Last

And now I see it's here, now, Today

It's time to stop looking for the Changes

And realize and accept they've already Come
