Healing Star, I love this! It fairly screams the beautiful community spirit of family, faith, and fidelity. I can hear the drums drumming, the dancers dancing, and the songs singing. You've transported me to a Native American Pow-wow, which I once begged my mother to let me attend when I was a child in Wisconsin, long, long ago. I have friends who are very proud of their Native American Ancestry, and I just love this. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I couldn't agree with you more. The older I get the more I appreciate the 'village' that it takes to raise good, solid, happy children. Large positive, happy families have long held secrets to raising good kids. Kids need other people besides mom and dad to show them what it means to be a young man or woman. A whole tribe would be phenomenal! Thanks again!
