As We Go

Finding our way along the path.

How long has it taken for us to all get hear

How long have the children been taught to live in fear

The people are so scared they don't look at me

They think I am strange, no one has a gift to see

 

But I'll spend my life tryin' to show them there wrong

That even just one, could one learn to sing along

I don't wanna worry about a paycheck anymore

I just wanna feel like I  did just after I was born

 

Before they spun like a spider all of their lies

Before I got fooled and was sucked in by their ties

I want to live Free, to wake with a Heart full of Joy

I want to just live Free, the way it was when I was a little Boy

 

Can I remember, how it was, can I change it back again

Can I remember, can I find my true self again, myself again

Stop the madness, stop all this sadness, I am drowning in the pain

Open up your Heart, know you can start again, with a summer rain

 

The shadows are receding as the sun breaks the hillside

The morning's come, the morning's come, we don't have to hide

I hear a little bird, just outside my tent door, he came with a message

That tiny little bird, he calls be Free, be Free, step out of the cage

 

I open up my eyes and I see the rainbow, it's come to shine on me

I open up my eyes, like its the first time, all is here to help me See

There has never been a cage that could not be Opened

I have the key, here inside of me, my Heart is full of Hope, and

 

Take a walk down this path, you will never turn around

As we walk along together, enchanted by the Heavenly sound

Of the beating hearts of a thousand souls, as we Go, as we Go
