A Little Vision

A Little Vision

A Poem by Healing Star
"

While working in the yard this came to me.

"
Just saw a little vision today
As I was in the yard at play
It was of a little old man
He was standing there gripping with his hands

I just saw a glimpse of him
Don't know what name they gave to him
He was holding on so very tightly

He was holding on with all his might, he

When I asked him what it was
He said he didn't know because
He had always been just holding On
He wouldn't even know if it had Gone

When I asked him if he could let it go
He said no, it was all he had ever Known
So sad to see him standing there
Without his hope, without know where,
To Turn

Why couldn't this little man think about letting go
Where had he been, what had he always known
Oh little man, let me hold it for You
While you take a rest, and learn to adore You

Then it all got so Real
When the next thing that was Revealed
You see, that the little old man, was Me
I said no, it couldn't be, Not Me

And then I had to just sit down
Soon my smile turned upside down
Well what is that thing, what is that thing
What am I holding on to, I'm gonna regret that thing

But I'm glad that I was shown
Before it is to late and all my dreams had blown
By the way, I realized I need to Dance and Laugh
It was my pride, it was my pride, help me Laugh

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
