Don't Know Why

Putting down my experience of writing these poems.

I don't know where it all comes from.

Just falls from the sky,

Whispered from my ancestors within me,

Whispered from stars or some forgotten race.

All I know is I hear them and I write them down.

They keep coming, they just keep coming.

As long as I am willing to sit down and write.

As long as I let it flow and get out of the way.

Don't know why, I don't know why.

But one day he told me it was because I was them.

That I am the beauty of All That Is.

That they chose to use my heart for this.

It makes sense I guess, makes sense I guess.

But I still struggle to accept, that they see me this way.

I still struggle to understand what is really going on.

But I write it down, I write it down.

I am amazed by what they say.

Sometimes I am completely over taken,

It is like I am watching it all happen, watching my hands move.

An energy takes over and it just flows, just flows through me.

He told me they chose, and that is all, the way it is.

He said it was only just beginning and that was a year and a half ago.

And the words keep coming, they just keep coming, like now.

So I go with the Flow, and wonder where this will all Go.

I wonder where this will all Go.

Sing to my Heart, Oh, familiar Ones.

Sing to my Heart, that I learn to Trust.

I will honor you, I will never change what you Say.

Trust in my Heart, it is True as True can Be.

Trust in my Wounds, that I bare for you and Me.

I have fallen by the Sword, I have fallen by the Spear.

But through you I can rise, and crush the Fear.

Together we can end the War.

Together we can free them Evermore.

Together we can free our children's Pain.

Together we can end their bloody Reign.

Free our Hearts, free our Spirits.

Free our Souls, where our King Sits.

Free our Cries, Free our Tears.

Free our Future, No longer ruled by Fears.

Together we will guide the Children.

Together we will find each other Again.

Together we will dream the Dream.

Together we will Silence the Scream.

Oh Light, shine again within my Soul.

I have been broken, waiting to be Whole.

There is a new Light on the Horizon.

Rising now to make our Hearts One.

Together we will Right the Wrong.

Together we will Begin to sing the Song.

Together we will Rise up from the Mist.

Together we will Allow our wounds Kissed.

We can find the Love, we can find the Peace.

We can find the Love, we can let it Ease.

We are the Love, that will save us from Ourselves.

We are the Love, that is opening to true Wealth.

Open your Heart, to who you Are.

Open your Heart, to see your inner Star.

Open to me, I am you Forever Been.

Open to me, your forgotten Kin.

Walk with me, I will show you, You

Walk with me, your lost and trusted Youth

Walk with me, hold my hand my Child.

Walk with me, feel my Heart so Mild.

Together we will climb the Mountain

Together we will find the Fountain

Together we will rise Above

Together we will Heal with Love
