Airports inspire me to write all sorts of wishful, wonderful fantasies.

I woke up today

realizing it's a brand new day

Today is also

the day you come home

from a rigorous task

Boy, am I glad to have you back

Back in the same country

in the same city

breathing the same air

and looking at the same buildings as I

I could go on all day worrying

when you first told me

you'd be going off

Ticking off days on my calendar

Pacing back and forth the room

Watching the news in the place you're in

Every little thing like this I do

Just so I can get closer and closer to you

And when I realized 

that you are under the same skies as I

I leaped in joy

to have be with you

in my mind and spirit.
