WhiteA Poem by Gee BeeI was inspired from the events that transpired today.
One of those washing soaps
must work for you because your shirt gleams so white under the sun and yet you don't seem to notice that I squirm under the brightness of your smile You were with a friend of a friend that effortlessly made you, the real you come out like the pureness of the color how easy was it when she made you smile I could have sworn it took a little washboard and overnight soaking to let you all out You were talking on the phone too busy to even see that I have been mesmerized by you by your white shirt and maybe just maybe if you let your dirty laundry hang outside and allow me to wash out the stains of yesteryears Everything would be as happy as the jingles in those powder soap commercials
