The coming of dawn

The coming of dawn

A Poem by Gerry Legister
"

when shadows disappear

"

The coming of dawn

Seems far from nightmare stars,

A gradual illumination,

Of sunrise sparkling through the trees.

From night that cried

Dreams alive wanting to be rescued,

Before they softly died,

And enter the abyss inside.

Sleep takes a final look,

As the horizon eclipse the coming of dawn,

Shadows no longer spook,

When darkness is transformed.

Light seem to appear everywhere,

Taking careful steps not to disappear.
