Love and Darkness

Love and Darkness

A Poem by Gerry Legister
"

Love and darkness are found can be found in the same place

"

Facing love and darkness in a world of sin
my heart rage loudly atonement,
the aching agony go deep within,
fly swift to wounded region.

Blindly tunneling in the dark,
igniting hope where new dreams began,
my awaken soul leap into mythical spark,
burning desire with every passion imagine.

Fear let go in marveled wander,
staying near the walk of faith,
burning love grows even stronger
aflame in the dark burned the brightest heat.

Electric fire glowing in the night,
burning flame reveal another dark realm
Light consumes darkness until daylight
Love binds on earth and shines into heaven.

As lamplight on the vacant street,
jostling the flames forcing our conscience,
time consume the darkness we meet,
and illuminate doubtful science.

Where there is mystery there is Love and darkness,
in shady light, seasons embrace both phenomenon
that exist within the crater of twilight mist
and disappear quickly as they came.
