Changing some of the things

Changing some of the things

A Poem by Gerry Legister
"

The future is constantly changing and we must adopt some of the changes

"

This night is made to lose the things I had today,
I am going away, far, far away, on a different road,
The road I will traveled; I have never walked that way,
Stories are told, but will see tomorrow what the future hold.

Before I go tumbling anywhere I am turning inside out,
A series of doubt to evaluate the heavenly objects,
Crying from inside with a drumming salute,
The road I will traveled is paved with other spirits?

For the end that may release the past into the future,
And God forgive the helpless heart a variety of sin,
Angels may remit the joy and live to overcome fear,
But who can prevent the troubles to stop the ruin?

Signs of the traveling man appear all around us,
It’s not a good time to be caught with the crowd,
Memories will be here but the spirit will go into a mist,
And you will not see me when I go into the cloud.

Speak the word before dying to avoid been unannounced,
The first priority is our privilege to live here below heaven,
So before I go, I will examine my lowly conscience,
Changing some of the things that once was own.
