By Faith

By Faith

A Poem by Gerry Legister
"

Faith provide strength for the things we hope to achieve

"

By faith I went out to find peace of mind,

Looking through thoughts dark as night,

I come to the place I don’t understand,

Until by faith, I found the light.

Shinning from a distance on my face,

In a world ravaged by strife and war,

I could not see the right thing to embrace,

And transport my strength to faith and prayer.

Until by faith I refuse to question every move,

And place myself in the place on solid ground,

Where others have found the hope to live,

Even with neither hearts not seen nor hearing of sound.

By faith I made a prayer of intercession,

Peace sacrifice made to the heavenly God,

To pull me from the state wherein I had gone,

Losing all what I thought I had.

In a world that has no light, I found the light,

Waiting for the revelation to come,

To the place I once thought was bright,

Then by faith, in the distance I saw a new vision.

This is a really nice piece. I think when you can truly have faith its a very powerful thing. Faith is believing without seeing and that is truly amazing. Great job.
Keep up the good work.
