You're Living Like A Cliche From X-FactorA Poem by GeorgeYou’re living like a
thought without a context and living like a war
without a conquest. You make out that you’re brave When you are so afraid. Verse2 You’re living like a fever
in an ice-tub and make a noise like
sonic booms in nightclubs. You think that you’re the man Yet most don’t give a damn. Chorus But it’s not your
fault what’s going on. Your brain
instructions are all wrong. So let me help you get
through this and bring the loved
one back I miss. Verse3 You’re living like a
vortex near a plughole and living like a
spaceman on an air roll. It may seem fun to some. but not when you come down, down,
down Verse4 You’re living like a
cliche from X-Factor And living like an
egocentric actor. It’s always about you. The pain that you’ve been through. But what about me too. Chorus But it’s not your
fault what’s going on. Your brain
instructions are all wrong. So let me help you get
through this and bring the loved
one back I miss. Bridge You hit a random
person, Now know there’s
something wrong. You didn’t mean to do
it. But I knew that all
along. You’re living like a
vortex near a plughole and living like a
spaceman on an air roll. It may seem fun to some. But look what you’ve just done,
done, done. Chorus But it’s not your
fault you act this way Your brain dictates
your mood each day. So let me help you get
through this and bring the loved
one back I miss. © 2013 George |
