Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by georgia churchill

The bench of memory,

Engraved with the tears of death.

Valuable to those who are no longer.

Once was so precious,

A grandad, father and son.

Perished.

Now stands a bench,

A stranger to the world.

History broken,

Words forgotten.

The bench of memory.

This poem takes the reader to a place to witness how time has taken away life after life and only a bench is left which is carrying all those memories... This is very thoughtful and makes the reader feel the words... Great work...

Sincerely
Dhiman

So true. Do you observe your environment a lot?
