THE PATH (by: George Kastrounis)

The path we took has narrowed and one of us follows the other. It was a circumstance we didn’t expect. A separation we didn’t want. Still we knew we were together. Sometimes I was in front and sometimes you. Every time you looked at me and I looked at you we knew and felt we would make it somehow to the end together. But somewhere along the way, when the night fell and the path became unclear we lost each other. It wasn’t the fault of the darkness, the narrowness of the path, the circumstances this time… It was us--for choosing this path and taking the chance to follow each other...
