He was so heroic

When heeding battle call

Bravely he gave his life

While fighting he did fall

 

That soldier named UNKNOWN

On headstone that we see

He did die courageous

While fighting enemies

 

The cause he did defend

So boldly with others

All should give him honor

Our bearing arms brother

 

Do visit his gravesite

Whenever time you can

Put flowers where he lay

The UNKNOWN who did stand

 

Let him be in our thoughts

A one who died for us

Not just on holidays

Remember him we must
