RebirthA Story by Geoffrey Savage
Here we go again. The pain and struggle is over. The tides have receded and the sky is clear. We come out of the bunkers and relief stations shielding their faces from the long forgotten sun. We may say the storm is over, but for how long? So much to build, rebuild, and repair. What is the cost in damage, to what do we owe? We used to rent, now is time to buy. The roads are now dry, the grass is still wet, pond like in some areas where the houses have been washed out. Here we go again, the birth of a sunny new era.
