Love and falling through the cracks

Love and falling through the cracks

A Poem by From the Heart
"

Something that has happened way too much in my lifetime

"

I want to love you so much more

I can feel tears rolling down my cheeks

There is pain in my throat

I’ve been having trouble breathing

I struggle to fight back.

Where winning is so much more than just not losing

And losing becomes falling through the cracks.

My heart beats in solid hard pumps.

Ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom.

Knees buckle, fists clench.

Pain of losing, yet afraid to win.

“I love you!” becomes something a boy says to a girl to get in her pants.

It leaves me wondering where truth comes in.

Will I ever know?

My guess, suggests not.

My belief suggests only time will tell.
