Dance

Dance with beauty, dance

Like you did when you were younger

Do your dance with pure abandon

Sweetly sing and share your voice

Let your soulful spirit sour

Like a bird that first flies free

For you are prisoner no more

No better nights than to dance with a lover. The music set us free and the dance steal us to a better place. I liked the complete poem. Good to be part of the dance. Thank you dear Poet for sharing the excellent poetry.

Perhaps instead of "let your soulful spirit sour", you meant to write "soar" ? ...

To dance with the freedom of a child, los in innocence and caught in the reverie of just being alive, no cares, other than for the music inside never to cease and run everywhere, just because you can. Beautifully captured GK

Weightlessness.

Floating. Freeing.
Fresh.

Bellissimo.
