ANCESTOR Genna's fire

Genna is a eighteen year old girl with all the elements in her hands. Nick her swore protector gets kidnapped and she must fight to ever see his face again.

I ran as I fast as I could. I couldn't, do this anymore, but I refused to give up, give up everything I worked for or I knew. I might be young but I am strong. I might be weak to you, but I am a powerful source I know who I am and I know whatever shoots me I shoot back. They had shot my foot with piecing ice as sharp as a piece of glass. It bled and the blood wouldn't stop. I air whipped them but one shot fire at me. I missed it but was close enough to feel the heat. I panicked I was surrounded. I then became mad. I air whipped them and started to run again. I hoped I got away, But they had gotten me this time. Then out of nowhere Nick jumped out of the shadows and shot fire at them . They back up and Nick grabbed my limp and hurting body. He was fast and strong and handsome. His hair was brown and his eyes a beautiful hazel. His skinny yet muscular body was tense as he ran. Me and him weren't dating. Even though he hold these traits doesn't mean I love him. He was eighteen and so was I. He finally stopped and lay me down gently . Genna! he yelled, are you okay? I mumble something, not even hearing my own words and fainted. I woke up to a fire and Nick sitting next to me. My leg was wrapped. But it was sore and I was in pain. He looked at me in worried his eyes giving me a soft yet urgent look. My eyes said the same thing. I am so glad your alright he said. I smile. Thank you I said. I am your protector Genna I will always protect you. Why? I ask. Why what? Why did you want to protect me when someone else could have? Because I...... thought I was better for you. He hesitated but I knew the real fact its because he loves me. However I didn't say anything. I try to get up but I winced, my eyes watered. Genna you should rest. I hugged him. He was shocked then he gave in and hugged me. It felt good to feel his warmth body,I grew tired. Goodnight he said. I slipped away from his arms and cuddled next to the fire. I woke up next to nick I jumped back. But I smiled. Nicks chest rose and fell. My leg was still sore. He then yawned and woke. Hi I said. Hi he said and smiled. I returned the smile. I liked him but I didn't want to go far in a relationship. So me and him were friends. I looked away. His face turn in concern. Genna? What's wrong? I looked at him. I feel helpless I said choking the words out. Genna your not helpless. You just got hurt he said coming to my side to comfort me. I felt a little better. I protect him and he protects me. Are you hungry he ask. A little come on were almost home. Genna you are tough, I am so glad those idiots didn't get you. They could have if it weren't for you. I said shooting a grateful glance at him. He looked like he wanted to say more but he didn't. Once we returned to the village he rushed me to the clinic. They were busy because someone was having a baby. I heard her in pain. I looked at nick. He smiled. Something beautiful was happening in there but it always cost with extra pain. Genna thank heavens!a women shouted. It was summer. She saw my leg and rushed to sit me down. She took the rag off and I winced. She grabbed a shot I pulled away, nick grabbed my hand and looked at me, I then put my leg down. She put it in I shrieked. She then put Bands on my leg. I then relaxed. What happen ? she finally said. She got shot at. Nick said. I looked at him. He then looked at me. I wish I didn't like him. One time I got really hurt and needed blood and nick and I had the same blood. That's when summer said I was perfect for him. I told her no yet it was true. I was heavy hearted but I never told him. Because I didn't know if he felt the same way. It would be weird he dating me. Or a firebender dating the golden warrior. He helped me out. Summer said I needed to rest. Nick got me back to my house so I could sleep. I wasn't tired but I was drowsy by the medicine. I hated getting shots, it made me drowsy afterwards. I dose off. I woke up. I didn't see nick I look around. I got out of bed and he was outside he saw me and came towards me. How do you feel? Fine I said. He smiled it was late and he looked tired. Nick you should rest. I said. I'm fine. That's an order I said smiling. He smiled. Okay he said I go to sleep. He walked in my house and fell asleep. I watched him sleep. I always love to see him sleep. He always slept on his back. And I always slept on my side. I crawled in my bed and fell back asleep. Morning came and I slipped out nick was still asleep. I watched little kids play I smiled. Nick came next to me. I looked at him. He smiled at the kids. I smiled. It was awkward to be with him. What are we doing today. I don't know I said. I want to go after those guys but I know you won't let me I said smiling. I just don't want you getting hurt. I know I said smiling. He gave a pat on my back. I'll think about it he said. I could go anyway I said confidently. Yeah but I would just follow you. He said. Then a kid ran up to us. Are you two dating? Did you guys kiss? Will you guys get married? Why do you ask so many questions? I said looking at her surprised face. No no and no I said. Nick was smirking and blushing the whole time. The kid ran off with a smile on her face. I sigh. Kids these days I said to nick. Yeah he replied. So genna are you going to marry me I looked at him he smiled joking I slap him and shouted no. I rolled my eyes. He laughed. I then saw Colten ( nicks brother and my bestest friend ) run towards us. I smiled as he approach us. Hi Colten. Hi Genna. He said smiling a cute and goofy smile. Colten was at least 17 years old, he was Funny and he was awesome. He wasn't all that smart, but he was the best friend I could ever ask for. I then saw mia. She was my fiend also her hair flew freely like mine. Her hair was curly and black. She had normal jeans on yet she had a white shirt with a leather black jacket. I smiled and waved t her and she smiled and waved back. I could tell almost imidentely that Colten like mia. Hey Mimi what's up he said. Great whats up with you guys. Nothing. I said. I heard what happen yesterday, are you alright? She ask her eyes filled with heavey worrrie. I'm fine I said. Just had a hard time. Are you feeling better? Colten asked. I feel great. That was a lie cause I still felt the pain. So what are we going to do now? We? I said. Genna come on you know were a team. Mia said. We have been called team golden warrior. And I loved it that way. But I would always worry, because I was pretty much putting them in danger. But they were always here for me and I was always here for them. I should deal with this alone guys I don't want you hurt. No we stick as a team forever Genna no matter what. Nick said giving me the look that saids DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID GENNA. I looked at him for a long time until colten broke the silence. Well I should be going. See ya later bro. Colten said. see ya. Nick said. Mia left soon after colten did. Genna whats on your mind. I turned to nick. Nothing I said. Genna there's always something on your mind. There was a lot on my mind. Nick was right. There was always something on my mind. I was thinking about finding out who those strangers were. I swear there's nothing nick, or at least nothing you need to worry about. I finally said over a long unbreakable silence. He said nothing. I knew he was worrying about me. But I tryed to act cool. I then walked towards the woods. He chase after me. What are you doing? He asked sternly. I am going in the woods and finding those idiots. I'm going with you. No your not even if I am in trouble. Genna please don't do this alone! He shouted. I stopped and turn around. Nick I will be fine please let me do this. Fine but if you are gone when the sun sets I'm going after you. I smiled thank you nick. Genna please be safe. He said looking at me. I will. I smiled. For some odd reason it was like I was saying good bye forever and I didn't like the feel of it. I walked off and disappeared from view of the villager feeling all alone. .....Again. I looked around the ground was solid. The Forrest was noiseless except the birds who sang there song. It was a strange calmness that seem to take me. I was finally calm. I sighed. I needed to let the stress leave my body. Take it all away. But suddenly the birds stopped singing. A chill ran through my body I tensed. I could feel my heartbeat grow louder. Thump thump thump. It increased I was feeling like I was having a heart attack. I then heard noises all around me. I then broke out of the heart attack stage. I was well aware of my surroundings. Then they jumped out at me. I grew stronger and air bend there feet. I dragged them a crossed the ground. I then shot rocks at them. One tryed to aim at my leg. Not this time you piece of crap! I shouted. I fire bend his foot and he fell backward. They got up and ran away. I looked at the sun. It was getting low. Genna should be back. Summer saw my worry. Don't worry nick Genna is a tough girl she will be back. I tryed to smile but it didn't work. Worry had over taken me. I then saw here. I saw nick. Genna thank goodness he came towards me and hugged me. I hugged him back I loved to hug him but I never admitted it to him. But I always wonder if he had had a clue. Are you OK. Yes. I fought them in the Forrest there nothing but a bunch of scary cats. I am so glad you had the power this this time. I am glad to. I saw summer. She smiled and winked as I hugged him. I blushed and let go of him and smile. Nick smiled and saw that I was blushing. I was a little tired and I tryed to shrug it off but it seem to show. Nick looked at me. Genna if your tired then you can go to bed. No I'm fine I said still smiling. He smiled. Nick loved my smile. Every time I did he did. Even if he is sad. He would smile no matter what he was sad about. I am going to go practice my bending. I finally said. I'll practice with you he said. I shot air at the targets. Nick watched he was impressed because I literally broke the target. I laughed when I saw his jaw dropped. I went over and pulled his jaw up. Your getting really good. Then me and him had a practice fight. He shot for at me but I dodge it and shot a fire ball at him he doge it and he was about to jump. He tripped and landed on me. He was on top of me. I blushed. Because his face was close to mine. He got off of me. He was a little red but not as red as I was. Uh.........so sorry genna. Oh its OK I said blushing. I knew he enjoyed me blushing then I would blushed even more. He then helped me up. We should be heading back I said. Some part of me wanted him. But some part also said your the golden warrior you don't need love right now. But I was eighteen, and pretty much ignored love or said eww or gross anytime I saw someone kiss. I was tired and sore. I yawned. Nick saw that and smile. Goodnight I said and went inside. I dosed off in my bed. Fire surrounded me. Nick! I yelled searching for him. I was surrounded by fire and I was breaking down. Then a guy came towards me. I guess your not as strong as you thought. He reached for me. I woke up screaming. Nick came to my side. I thought I was still in my dream. Leave me alone you...... nick I said softly. Genna its only a dream. Tears swelled in my eyes and nick hold me. Its OK genna. I looked at his face our noses almost touching. Thank you for being here I said. He smiled and nodded. Are you okay? I am now I said. I told him about my dream and every time he saw the slightest of tear he would hug me. Me and him had more then a bond we had a relationship. I for some odd reason wanted to kiss him but I didn't. Although I was surprised when he kissed my forehead. Goodnight I said. He smiled and went to his bed. I felt better and went back to sleep. I woke up and nick was not inside as usually I walked outside to expect him there but he wasn't. I walked in the clinic I saw summer crying. Summer what's wrong? I asked. You don't know? Know what? I said looking worry. Nick got kidnapped. My heart stopped. I was mad they knew about it and didn't wake me up. Why didn't you wake me up I scolded. Giving a look like I was about to kill someone. We didn't want you going after them just yet. I stormed out. Wait she yelled. I was expecting to be stopped but instead she handed me a basket. Mia and Colten was ready to refusing to let me idea with this alone. Were going to kick some butts colten said angrily ready to get revenge on the guys that took his brother. Mia looked at me like its time to get him back. I nodded. Then we walked towards the deadly yet calming woods. I was still mad and ready to kick someone's sorry butt. I couldn't wait to burn someone's face in and water whip the fool who time him. Genna mia said. Yeah I ask. Where are we going? Were going to the mountains. That's a long way. I know I said. Nick would travel the seas for me. I would traveled the world for him. I can' t wait until I kick there butts. I mumble loudly under my breath my eyes having pure hatred. We walked. Until it got dark. I fire bend a fire so we could stay warm. Remembering how nick saved me and that hug we shared made me cry. I wanted him to come to my side to comfort me. Genna it will be alright mia said seeing my tears. We will get him back and we will...... kick some buts! colten yelled interrupting. Colten shut up mia snapped at him before she said anything. A smile spread across my face. Will you be okay she said. Yeah I just needed to cry. I then climb a tree. I tried to cheer up but my heart sank thinking about his warm body and his unforgettable smile. I was battling the guards to let me go. Not so tough now are you. They threw me in a cell. If you hurt Genna i will kill all of you pieces of crap! We'll see about that they laughed a evil crackle and left the room. Please oh please be safe Genna. I was near fire I was screaming mia and Colten name. I was getting horrified that I couldn't find my friends. The woods were on fire. I was sweating and trying hard to escape the fires red and oranges blazes. I then saw nick. Nick! I shouted. He hold out his hand I tried to grab them but I was to late I heard him scream. I shouted as I woke up drench in sweat and tears already in my eyes. Mia and colten were asleep. I then go up and sneak off to the river. I water bend to sooth me. I then put some on my leg. I winced but cooled once I relaxed. It was still sore but something about water bending to heal my leg was longing to something I remember that I don't have now. A family. My mom die at birth and I was force to live here. However my father I knew he was a water bender. And I couldn't live with him because I had love my friends. Rarely I visit him. But I felt like I didn't have a family. It was hard to love my father because he had be evil. He turned good but me and nick still had some concern about him. I wanted to let him in and embrace him but I couldn't. Sometimes I did that to everyone. Mostly nick. When i meant him i hated him and wanted to kill him because he was a fire bender. He didn't like how I was at first, but then he started to admire me. We then had a very strong bond. A bond that couldn't be separated. Even when we fought me and him came together again and kept punching evil together. I guess I shut everyone out. And I felt guilty about it. I walked back. I the laid back down trying hard to forget about the dream I had. I fell back asleep. Wake up sleepy head colten said giving me a big smile. I smiled weakly. I pushed myself up to not ache but my leg came by with a sharp pain I shriek and fell. Genna are you okay mia and colten said at the same time. Yes. I said pulling myself up. I guess healing didn't work. I thought feeling puzzled. Are you sure your okay? Yes. We had breakfast and keep on the trail. If I have to break my leg just to save nick then I will and i won't hesitate. We kept walking. We talked. I then saw foot prints. I touch them they were nicks. I was good and connecting with nature and I saw nick being kicked and pushed to walk. I was so mad there was fire in my hands. Genna calm down what did you see. I saw nick. I was given this gift and I had finally learn to use it on accident and found a guy. I couldn't bare the vision and I air whipped a huge rock and broke it in half yelling and cursing those guys who took him. Colten and mia were shocked. I didn't even look at them to know. I fell down and lost it. At first I thought they were leaving me. but they came to my side. They talked to me like I was a small child and soothed me w-we s-should be g-going I said feeling like as if I was numb. We kept walking me trying not to lose it again. I didn't sleep that night I was worried about Genna. I tried to find a way out but there was none except the door that stay shut and locked. Night yet again had fall among us as we walked. I stopped snow was beginning to fall we were still in the woods but not a minute away from our village, we were miles from it. It always snowed at the mountains no matter what. I was determined to get nick back even if my life was on the line. Colten and mia looked up like I did we look at each other and nodded. We were not going down without a fight. I was trying to figure a way out when a guy stopped at my cell. Well the golden warriors boyfriend. I'm not her boyfriend. Whoever you are she is taking the bait. I went towards the cell bars with pure hatred. You so much lay a finger on her I will beat the crap out of you and burn this place down. He laughed. You are nothing but a kid who is defenseless. I shot fire at him my eyes burning because I really wanted to kill this piece of crap. He grab my arm and twisted it. Leaving me yelling in pain. I will kill you and the golden warrior and if you think I won't I will kill her in front of you first then I will make yo suffer. He let go pushing me back and walked out. The snow lightly fell now and it was calming I made a fire and Cook a chicken for mia and colten. My heart stopped. Was nick getting fed? Was he stating well. I tryed hard not to picture him up in chains thirsty and hungry. But it was to late. I walked it off. We ate and the they fell asleep. I remembered when I did hate nick. / Hiya! I said loudly doing a back flip and taking the target out. I smiled. My smile soon disappeared when I saw nick. Great here comes hot head. I looked away I tried to ignore him but couldn't when he tripped. I laughed. He gave me a look then smile and starting to laugh to. I then stopped laughing and sneered at him and went back to training. What's your problem! He shouted. You! You are my problem! I yelled. Well you are my problem too! He said. Summer came to break up this fight. Enough Is enough. When will you to learn to get along? To the fourth of never. I sneered at him again. Fine wanna go water bender! He hissed through his teeth. He said having fire in his hands. Yeah fire bender I would love to hear you scream like a baby. I said clutching my fists having water in them. ENOUGH! Summer screamed./ I laughed at that I had gotten along with him and i liked him. I remember the time we got along for the first time, he saving me./ wind blew like no other. I was about to fall. The lava underneath me boiled. I was a goner I had thought to myself. Genna! I looked up. Nick was there holding his hand out. Grab my hand! He yelled. I tried I can't I said crying. Don't give up you can do anything Genna but right now you need to grab my hand! He cried. I had no choice of trusting him. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. I then hugged him. That was our first hug. I was amazed that he took it. He hugged me for a long time. You saved me I finally said. I might hate you sometimes think your crazy and overbearing but I couldn't let you die. / I smiled remembering all the words he said I was and I agreed with him. I fell slowly asleep. I was surrounded not by fire but by slow moving snow. Genna. I heard someone say. I turned around to see nick he hold out his arms and I ran to them. It was calming. I felt his warmth all over again feeling happy. He then look at me and.....kissed me. I woke up early morning cherishing the dream I just had, although I knew would never happen because I have a hard time deciding. Me or the people. The people I would say regretfully in my mind. I woke mia and colten up. Get up lazy bones. They were shocked to see energy in me. They got up and we walked again. I woke up smiling I had a dream about genna in the snow where me and her had kissed. I swear if that guy hurts her I will kill him. We walked and I stopped and froze. Fire I smell fire. Genna mia said. Fire was going through my mind when I had painful memories from my dream. I realized it was a wood fire. I sighed. Come on let's follow the smoke i said leading them towards I didn't know what was going to happen. I saw a man I walked towards him. Who are you he asked rudely. I ignore that. Did you see people walked by here I ask. Why should I tell you. My patience was running thin for him. I am the Fricken golden warrior that's who I am! I shouted as I lifted him up. My mistake ma'am I didn't' know. I set him down. Trying to regain my cool so I don't punch this guy so he would looked like a pug. I did see a guy in chains being kicked. Did he have brown hair. Yes he did. He went over at that mountain. I thanked and blessed this man completely forgetting his rudeness early. I walked towards the mountain with mia and colten at my heels ready to fight and get there friend back. Looks like we have visitors. I looked up I wanted to mess his face up and get that ugly look off his face I wanted so much to kill him I wanted to but I couldn't. Genna could maybe connect with my spirit I could warn her. Genna don't come and get me its a trap go and save yourself. I stopped dead. Genna whats wrong? This is a trap. Don't come with me. I walked in and they stood there shocked. I walked in and dodge nets. How did she know? He ask I smiled wildly. I didn't let him see that though. He was shocked. The he storm out. I was surrounded by guys at the moment I recognize some. So they had survive i thought. Then a guy appeared from no where. The guy in my dream! I stepped back a little but refused to let fear over take me. I took one step forward. Who are you! I snarled ready to kill this guy. Well I should properly introduced my self he said with a devilish grin. My name is sparrow. Well hi there sparrow be prepared to get your butt kicked. No you be prepare golden warrior. I tryed to get out. I fire bend the lock come on come on i mummer. I shot water at him. He block me and fire bend me he missed. Accidentally hitting huge oil cans they burst. I was surrounded by fire. Nick I yelled. I was surrounded by fire and breaking Down. Sparrow came towards me. Guess your not as strong as you thought. His hand reached for me. My dream! Nick then jumped through the flames. He knocked him out of the way. Genna he said. He hep me up. Then he was pushed over the edge by sparrow. I air whipped him. Genna! I pulled him up. We escaped but I turn to my horror. The woods were on fire and soon it surrounded us. Mia and colten weren't there. Mia! Colten! I shouted. Genna! Nick scream as I saw sparrow letting him hang over the fire. Sparrow tryed to kill him. I lunge myself at him taking him down. I kicked him. I sprung around tryed to grab his hands. He sip and fell. I heard him scream. No I yelled and jumped off after him I air bend him up sending me down. I crashed on the ground. I was safe. I looked down. Genna! I shouted. Tears were in my eyes. It started to rain. Which was weird because it only snowed. The drops were warm. But the fire was put out. Me and mia and colten ran down. I stopped and saw Genna's life less body. I fell because my knees. I pick her up and hold her close. I carried her home. She was noiseless she was not the genna I adored. She was in the clinic it was hop less Genna was gone. Summer rushed quickly to me. She's not dead! She is breathing! She was over joyed. I walked in summer left us alone. Genna? Her chest stopped. I was suppose to protect you I failed you Genna. I cried and curse sparrow out loud. And the important thing is I loved you. I never again will feel your body against mine. I place my hand in hers. I cried. The I felt my hand squeeze. I looked up. It was Genna she smiled. I looked at him. Why are you crying. I asked and smiled. He couldn't help it but smile. Then mia and colten and summer came in they were shocked and hugged me. I had gotten up from bed. Genna? Nick said. I turned around to face him he tried to hug me but I pull away. Genna please don't do this now. Please don't be stubborn and don't pull me away. Nick is it true do you love me I said. Genna it is true and will always be true and I accept it. I wish I could love you to I said. I just don't know how I said. Let me teach you he said. He pulled me close to kiss me it started to snow around us. Like my dream we both said at once. We have had the same dream. I love you to nick and I kiss him even farther. THE END.

I am working on the sequel I have to keep writting so don't get as hot as a fire bender. Haha:-)
