Do Not Fear

A thought on living well. If only I could take my own advice.

Do not fear love my friend

For all its joy and pain

A moment to feel the ecstasy

Is worth the ache you gain

Do not fear life my friend

For strife within its depth

Is blended in with happiness

It is the  Lord's own breath

Do not fear death my friend

The darkness in its sleep

It's not the end of everything

The Lord my soul to keep
