narcissus and echo

narcissus and echo

A Poem by Geneticstar
"

retelling of a favorite myth

"

narcissus and echo

A tight

breeze

pinches the heat.

Sissy

hesitates at water

Echo

laughs at him

her eyes     and

hesitates.

He stones to the

ground

and blooms white.

Time

nudges time

in the silence.
