Emotional Disruption

Emotional Disruption

A Poem by Azrael

Emotional Disruption

The creaking rusted hinges give way
the minds door reluctantly opens to the past
A room of the hurts from yesterday
soulful memories that always last
The aching throb of unseen scars
bleed slowly within the mind
Locked demons behind their bars
escape from the openings they do find
Stirred disruptions play within the soul
erosion of an empty heart
The objective to destroy the whole
piece by piece and part by part
