My Mommy

My Mommy

A Poem by Ashleigh Jo

The day that she died relly got me the most,

So here is a toast.

To an amazing mom who was always there,

No matter how much she coulndt bare.

The pain that she had she always talked to me,

Even when it got hard for her to breath.

We would talk all the time no matter what,

She would always listin to the but i put in the story.

My mom made mistakes and she told me that,

But every night when we sat around the table.

We talked all the time even  though she had a lot on her mind but she always listen to wat we said,

Even when she wanted to go to bed.

I lost my world, my heart, my mom,

And to think she is gone.

I dont know what to do,

And all it takes now is to see a rose bloom.

Everyone tells me ill be fine it will be okay,

They acted as if she was another fish in the bay.

I look back and have good memories but,

The people around me dont care its like a cut.

Its like a scar that will neve heal,

I miss everything about her even her meals.

She has been gone for awhile now 3 months I think,

I cant even blink.

Without seeing her in that hosptial bed,

Its like what I said.

I cant go into a hosptial I get a flash back,

Of were i sat.

Were she died,

Were i kissed her goodbye.

She was my best friend and more,

They opened the door to let me in.

I tryed to run but they grabed me,

Just so i could see.

My mother lay there white as a gost so cold so sad,

I wanted OUT! I took a deep "sigh".

Pushed them out of the way and ran,

They tried to catch me to see if they can.

I out ran them they couldnt get me,

But they did just look at me now and you can see.

They changed me like they change the T.V,

Just look at me now and rember me then and you can see....
