Root Seven
A Poem by
Kenneth The Poet
root seven left alone, all alone, the color of being forgotten like an in-law spouse made to be an outlaw in the first round of wedding photos, standing statuesque like a nobody in a sea of them fully subtracted of their trashcan drums and their Glorias, underused, malnourished, wasting away like a grandfather with stage death prostate cancer instead being clubbed into submission like a baby seal, an oddity like a microwave transmitter standing out strange in a clan full of cave hills, this is your rectal exam horoscope for today, all two-point-six-four-five-seven-five-one of them, talk about redefining the square root of lucky, or weird for that matter

"stage death prostate cancer..." That one got my attention (was it wrong to chuckle at it?). Anyway, your write of individuality here is amazing. Loved it.

Sharp and stunning metaphors and mingled thoughts of self... standing in the equation of existence. Great write.

I never knew math could be so visceral and sticky. An abstract improvisation worthy of Charlie Parker of Lester Young. Keep jammin' them integers....
