The acolyte responsible for conveying linear and quadratic entities to the youth of tomorrow went missing in the middle of the oil patch, and the news media hopped on it like a kitten does with a piece of string soaked in synthetic catnip.

They fail to realize that their own news magazines portray stories that run against this grain all time, every time.

Shorter memories and shorter attention spans that is.
And all that will come this, a family's pain endure forever because of momentary exploitation.
