You Live

You Live

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

you live on a sullen track,
a one-way train wreck into
the abyss that Nietzsche
avoided rather passionately

this is your life,
devoid of slumber,
devoid of meaning,
devoid of essence
and experience both

this is worse than nihilism,
worse than any darkness
ever dreamed up by
razor-blade waving
teddy bear drenched
in the shade of oil,
the shade of coal,
the shade of pitch

are you there now?

if you are there now,
be a man and pull
the trigger because
this madness has to
end at some point

you may live, but you
won't always learn

deep down, philosphical poems will also be my favorites.

These lines were brilliant:

1.the abyss that Nietzsche
2.avoided rather passionately

3.teddy bear drenched
4.in the shade of oil

Nice ending too, the entire piece is pretty darn original actually.

Definitely blunt and right to the point...this madness has to end at some point, riveting.........

Wow. Dark without being over the top or melodramatic. I love the blunt message.
