Seven, Eight, Nine

Seven, Eight, Nine

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Eight and Nine,
numbers of significance
for the 1421 culture,
Eight for good luck,
Nine for everlasting,
together forever in
associative perfection,
added up to make the
seventh prime, which
preserves the consecutive
flow of the natural numbers,
but as a front-loaded pairing
it is the twenty-fourth prime
and it connects to the
preceding order by the
connection of Wal-Mart's
store hours in states without
those depressing blue laws,
yet when the pairing is
reversed it is a composite
that factors into the double
square of Western perfection,
as if the cosmic connections
were meted out beforehand
by an outside force,
by an external agent,
or whatever we discover
by design or by our own design,
point is it is only natural since
1421 is a multiple of that perfection,
first if front-loaded,
third if back-loaded,
so there is no reason for
teachers and social workers
to write up a 504 plan against
that line of logic.

Eight and Nine should never leave Seven out.

the origin of the blue law dates back to the 17th century puritans (17 is also the seventh prime)..lol I like how you use the 504 plan, it pushes me toward a rehabilitation type mindset...this is the kind of art I dig cause you cant just read it and say "oh this is great" you need to look deeper into it. its unfortunate that often times with art like this some offer a pat on the back, thumbs up or whatever but didnt really gain anything from it- work with this kind of depth speaks most fully to a narrow spectrum of people. this isnt simple poetry this is a blueprint for reality. As far as the very last line : "Eight and Nine should never leave Seven out." this has me thinking about the future generations cannot forget the past because when you combine past generations (8-9) and end with 17 what you end up with are the sins of the father which will resurface and repeat themselves with math and with history. GREAT WORK

It all adds up to more fabulous writing. Thank you for converting numbers into letters (not those f*****g x's and y's) for a better appreciation of Math, the only true International language.
Smart, clever, and delightful poetry.
