Saw No God

Saw No God

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

I saw the fossils, and saw no god.
I saw the genetics, and saw no god.
I saw the actions, and saw no god.
I saw the faiths, and saw no god.
I saw the pantheons, and saw no god.
I saw the landscape, and saw no god.
I saw the universe, and saw no god.

Do geese see god, I wonder.

Geese don't see god
since there is no god
to be seen.

And so I see some geese, and
I will never see any god.

It's a matter of what folks call god, in my opinion. I kind of take the St. Augustine approach: "To study the Universe, is to study the anatomy of the body of god." Well penned!

. you're right ... no one's actually seen god ... not in the sense that you define god ... maybe it's time god made an appearance in a recognizable format ... that's what i've been wishing for ... it shouldn't be so challenging to find god ... for anyone ...

this one has some teeth...the problem with people (or geese as the case may be), is that when looking for this "god" being, i think they go with a preconceived notion of what "god"is supposed to be. me? i've been looking for george burns my whole life
