Now You Know

Now You Know

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet
"

Written a few years after the Manhattan twins took a tumble.

"
Sunset from the airport, a long time back
Lady’s flame and twins standing, no flack

Inspiring passers-by to smile in awe
And to kick freedom’s thief in the jaw

Days and years later, I awoke to the cry
The twins had fallen down by a failed fly-by

Frightened from my mind like all in the nation
I cried and prayed with the mothers,
their kids mobilized for the duration

Watching it happen on my nineteen-inch screen
In my mind, I loudly shout and I loudly scream

“Why! Why to us?”

“Did we deserve this?”

Now I think, innocents died due to an agenda
To the foe, we are nameless packets of Splenda

Made of sugar yet healthy and proud
To them, I say it, I boom it loud

“What goes around comes around!”

“I’m not sorry for being myself!”

All those who push a cause bringing about many a death
Sorry, my friend, you’re high on crystal meth

By the end, we press on!
Now you know, Osama-san!

Now I think, innocents died due to an agenda

Sarcastic, yet this is very strong in it's statement, and I agree 100%!

I'm trying to stay away from the politicians. Every time I hear them make promises and try to knock down another party. It makes me tire. Our leaders support to work together. Not against each other. Your poem open the door to a large discussion. My answer is simple. Less government and less waste. Thank you for your poetry. Thank you for your excellent poetry.

Tragedy bespeaks reaction and resentment on many levels, as depicted in this piece of writing.
