A Death In HopeA Poem by Kenneth The PoetFor another shining star loss prematurely.Another death in a little town, another school day feeling down A small group of people affected, all of them completely dejected Sadness stretches across the prairie, life is just a massive pile of scary Gone in a flash, sixteen solid years, now shed are just millions of tears It may be senseless, but who knows, yet faith remains, or so it all goes Other outsiders looking in from afar, doesn't mean they aren't truly jarred And so what's the plan in this matter, that is something only God can answer The hole is left and is not refilled, this is why nobody should be killed Just drift on today, tomorrow is later, still the pain remains, becoming greater The little town called Hope, may be able to fully cope But not today, the first shock, hours pass slowly on the clock I can't say anymore at all, it's not my place, not my call © 2011 Kenneth The PoetAuthor's Note
