Twelve Point Nine Four

Twelve Point Nine Four

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Twelve Point Nine Four
It leads to a knobless door
A place of health and hope
A place where you never cope
Where despair hits hard the floor

Twelve Point Nine Four
Beacon of hope for spirit’s poor
Light for the wavering, for the lost
Provider of release free of cost
Only bow and believe forevermore

Twelve Point Nine Four
Extend the numbers to know more
Letters, Numbers, Products, Logs
Encrypting a name means a lost cause
But faith goes straight to the core

Twelve Point Nine Four
Fence-sitter does the world abhor
The world isn’t stagnant, but static
Find the faith and keep at it
A hellish death can’t be ignored

Twelve Point Nine Four
Salt on a festering sore
Scrawled on a wall
To be seen by all
Follow the sign to the door

The repetition of Twelve point Eight Four, almost like a march, across your poem. This has a great rhythm and I like the rhyme scheme. And of course intrigued as to the meaning of it. Google was no help by the way... :)

I don't know what the 12.84 is unless it is almost 13. A fence sitter the world definitely abhors. I know I do. Excellent read.
