A Prayer For Action

A Prayer For Action

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

The angel came down in a vicious wind
To fend off the war pigs who've sinned

Against us, the people made in the image
Happiness falls away from the godly visage

Upon the pigs, He'll ravage with vengeance
And furious anger, no silent temperance

Do not poison them or lead them astray
And upon your people, He will bring dismay

Plagues so heinous and famines so vial
You'll be wishing death after the first mile

The screaming from all the sullen voices
Will be regretting all their prior choices

That is when the realization will arrive
That the LORD of all peoples is alive

I am up here in Heaven, staring down
I am not to be thought of as some clown

Clearly, you will see and you shall know
Whenever the righteous winds shall blow

Put down your arms, put away your strife
Return to your role and your loving wife

Work toward equality with one and all
And you'll be saved from the ghastly fall

Know that all iniquity must be despised
And not be licensed out or franchised

These are words of action, not for deaf ears
Or you shall be returned to your darkest fears
