Adult Swim

A Chapter by Kenneth The Poet

The immature male,
the target demographic
for the mad men now.

Flashy anime
and toilet humor are the
attention grabbers.

The bullhorn blasts off
that second to last Sunday
in the peaceful times.

All the children are
told to exit the cool, blue
waters, the short term.

Tito Puente was
remixed by a devil
constructed from dust.

Mambo Gallego
decoded into sonic
promise, a sweet feast!

All the while swimmers
are acting out tea parties
in their golden years.

But the elderly
citizens are not the ones
viewing the programs.

It’s Joe Drunk in the
dorm room and the immature
husband late at night.

Yet, children are smart
enough to understand the
TV Guide Channel.

Three, two, one and the
brass section invokes the
antics of Spiegel.

Spike Spiegel and the
crew of the Cowboy Bebop,
and all of the rest.

From Family Guy
to Trigun and Fullmetal
Alchemist, onward.

Onward and upward,
the formats switched over
the ten years of life.

From animation
to stop-motion, live action
of the lowbrow kind.

Keeping male children
awake is the mission of
the Adult Swim block.

And we play along
because we are slaves to our
own stupidity.

Dude I always wondered about those adult swim skits, they are weird as hell...the dumming down of a nation, why do you think movies are made for a 3rd grade mentality..cool stuff
