Symbolic Distrust

Symbolic Distrust

A Chapter by Kenneth The Poet

Mathematical,
axiomatically
rigid, not brittle.

Commenced from a hot,
fertile crescent, the playpen
of Western Culture.

The wellspring sprouted
viral agriculture and
the need to keep up

with inventory.
The first six numerals when
multiplied gives the

answer of sixty.
The degrees in a circle,
the seconds in a

minute, the use is
wide open, the abuse is
widespread, far from few.

Look at the books cooked
by Enron, Worldcom, and the
scandal prone Savings

and Loan entities.
The laws are followed, only
those that are based in

the realm of numbers.
Derision at the subject
is the deeper why.

Frustration at the
lack of discernment causes
anger toward the

symbols that tell us
how much, contextually
dependent, of course!

And those passionate
about numbers, are lump'd with
the activist nuts.

But, nut has more than
one meaning, many contexts,
an unfair label.

The problem inside,
trepidation eternal.
Split, the heart and mind.

But, the nut presses
forth like an apostle in
times gone by. But, one

soul can stand in the
tide of discontent and it
will suddenly halt.

One teacher makes all
the difference, that alone
causes less dissent.

Thanks, Poppy. I am really glad you like it.
Your sacred geometry is a joy to behold! The discipline of the format becomes you. Only one syllable off in the whole. "lack of understanding causes" Other than that, this is as perfectly done as a traditionally made Persian rug. Outstanding bro!

nice begining, you've got to be the first intellectual whom is in touch with their feelings and ideas and is able to mix the two together so artistically
