![]() ChangeA Poem by Kenneth The Poet![]() A simple rant against the idea of change![]() Outside the bell curve is the land of the outliers, that is where I live, that is where I call home, that is where I choose to be, because why must I conform, must I follow the social norms that everybody so easily follows without query, without question?
At some point, Stalin's view became the norm and he promised change and I don't trust anybody that promises change of any kind
Unless, it comes in a sack with a dollar sign and is heavier than a sledgehammer
If that leader promises that kind of change, I can knock him over if he fails to deliver on another set of promises
Because the human condition is constant, everlasting, the shortcomings never cease
As Carlin once said, garbage in, garbage out
As Byrne once said, it's the same as it ever was
Empirical fact, based on repeated observation
