in a line against the building,
sitting down are representatives of all races the addicts staying in the rain late on a Saturday afternoon one of the many facets along an urban stretch of US 40 a mix of yuppie bars, head shops, liquor outlets, bodegas and roach motels from the young to the old, from the homeless to the wealthy, from the hopheads to the crackheads, this stretch of pavement is where all the beings congregate disparately even the politicians assemble here as the rain falls on the homeless vet pushing his shopping cart of belongings into the bus stop shelter the just and unjust alike exist here on Colfax Avenue
