Strange People

the strange people

want to grow tails

from their asses

because the past

is so much better

than the present

and the future can be

the surgically-enhanced

version of the past

the good old days

before the

hunter-gatherers

become the 

mainstays of

life as we know it

and sometimes

ethical boundaries

need to be obliterated

if they want to be that way

that's why the fringe

was created

and so was the concept

of strange people

they would create clones

of us if they could

strange days are here to stay

and so are the strange people

I knew the world was nuts when they gave the Medal of Honor to Bob Dylan. I thought it was a joke. Obama got me on that one. New world my friend. Dylan and Morrison are heroes and we know the truth. Always a pleasure to read your work. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

We are all strange in our own way. We all do things that another will find odd or strange. Leave it to us to think ourselves different when reality tells us we are all the same. Leave it also to us to think our selves the same when we are obviously so very different one from another. Yet we are all so very strange. Well done Kenneth. This is quite the apt observation.
